笑話一則
看到 c9寫的笑話，才記起又到寫兩週一聚的時間。雖然倫敦時間還未到7月15日，但今次有早沒遲先寫寫吧。因為C9寫的笑話跟外文有關，這讓我想起另一則也跟外文有關的趣事。
話說某人到西班牙旅行，在旅館看到一則告示，寫著 “No Molester”。Molester 這字在英語代表性侵犯，尤指孌童者(Child Molester)，在酒店房間看到一則「不准孌童」的告示，真讓人有點難以理解…
後來，他不知在哪裡再看到這個 No Molester 的告示，但今次同時還有其他幾種歐洲語言… 他終於明白那個 No Molester 其實不是英語，而是西班牙語，翻譯成英語，其實是「不准騷擾」的 No Disturb!

And than I know it meant Delivery Service.
我都係到好大個先知急便點解咋…
不過我真係唔明點解電影發行商要直接叫「魔女宅急便」而唔改其他字面上更有意義的名，例如「魔女之速遞」…
I saw similar signs when travelling in several Spanish-speaking countries. It appears the word is spelled “molestar”. But my Spanish is not that great, so you better check it out.

Thanks for the correction! Indeed you are right. It should be molestar instead of molester. I always got confused with the -er and -ar ending with spanish verbs… I should have checked before posting. Thanks!
But your point is still valid. The “No Molestar” sign outside a hotel-room door still baffles a lot of English-speaking guests the first time, including myself.

除了西班牙，中南美也說西語，而且文化習俗或多或少都受西班牙影響。你在北美，到中南美很方便啊! 老實說，南美要比西班牙好玩多了。趁你還在北美，一定要把握機會去玩啊!
